Willie A. Belton, a political leader and successful businessman, was awarded the Louisiana Medal of Honor. Belton, a decorated war veteran, was previously awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his military service for our country.
Each year, the family and friends of Willie Belton host an annual deer hunt for Purple heart recipients and other veterans who honorably served our nation.
The Willie Belton American Hero hunt is an incredible opportunity being offered to an exclusive group of five hunters who have been carefully selected by our committee as a way of saying thank you from our grateful nation. This event will not only provide a thrilling hunting experience but also offer participants the chance to indulge in some delicious food and foster a sense of camaraderie among fellow veterans. The joy of being able to enjoy a free weekend of hunting is just a small way in which we wish to give back to say thanks. It is a truly once-in-a-lifetime chance that promises to be an unforgettable experience for all those involved.
In addition to its direct efforts to support our veterans at our annual hunt, The Willie Belton American Hero Hunt’s fundraising efforts give back through scholarship programs and in-direct support of other like-minded veterans’ groups.
