Each year, we select five hunters to participate in the Willie Belton American Hero Hunt in honor of the event’s namesake. Purple Hearts like other meritorious service medals are awarded based on a recommendation from peers and superior officers.  If you know a military veteran who you believe would benefit from a hunt or if you would just like to nominate a veteran as a hunter/veteran Advocate as a way of saying “Thank you for your service”, please fill out the form below.
